I lost 30 lbs with intermittent fasting . Americans are always hungry and wanting food lol it’s not healthy for us to continuously eat all day. Intermittent fasting is a great approach to eat what you want but stop eating at a certain time. I do this daily . It’s not hard . But we are so addicted to food in this country it’s a crazy thought for most people

All you need to do it eat once a day very little make it heathy and go run 45 minutes a day or work out that's all

I have always thought that dieting is eating only green vegetables and drinking water. *Agoge Diet* proved me wrong. I am eating delicious and nutritionally rich food and still reaching my fitness goals.

3% is only 5.4 pounds out of 180. 6% is about 11. Most other fitness and healthy eating plans will cause more weight loss and sustainable weight loss.

Most of the intermittent fasting equation is learning discipline. As a society we have a VERY unhealthy relationship with food. If we take any steps to pay attention to what we are eating or when we are eating it and how it affects us, that awareness is the key missing link of why obesity flourishes. Lack of attention and awareness of why we even have to eat food to begin with.

To live.

If we can sever to emotional and mental dependencies and set healthy boundaries like we do with spouses or family members, we can take steps to getting to a healthier weight. When your in laws show up at 10pm, for no reason unannounced, you just got kids in bed and they want to talk about paint colors, do you allow it or tell them its late but you can see them tomorrow?

Boundaries. Food is the same as your in laws. You allow food to take over your life. Stop it.

As usual when somebody wants to "fact check" and "verify scientifically" the topic of intermittent fasting, they quickly jump to the conclusion that it's just because you eat less. Unfortunately, the picture is way more nuanced. Tip for next try: never talk about IF without mentioning insuline and insulin resistance.

The alternate day fasting makes me so hangry lol. If i fast every single day consistently my body adjusts after about a week or so.
