That’s because if we lose weight and become healthier ‘they’ can’t BENEFIT from it. ‘They’ WANT us to be overweight and sick! 😡 I’ve weighed myself everyday since February 15th and I’ve lost almost 50 pounds. I’m 9 pounds away. 🥳 Intermittent Fasting, in a way, encourages you to be more careful with your food choices. You don’t want that 16 hours, or however long one’s fasting window is, to be in vain. I swear America is so weird at times. 🥴

Wow, I’ve been on intermittent fasting for a year and a half. Lost 30 pounds and got my memory back. I think I’ll be on it for life.

i call bullshit!! i fought my weight for 40 years but not until IF did i lose 70 lbs and kept it off for 6 years. i do not diet i eat what i want and how much i want.

IF is not about loosing weight. Time restricted eating allows your gastric system to heal and recover along with reducing the food cravings. Confusing people with poor journalism is very unethical.

You can see a SIGNIFICANT difference when you start eating less and adding some light exercise.
- I’ve been doing intermittent fasting(17:7) for two months by now with 50-70 minutes walking 4-5 times a week. I lost 10 lbs so far, better skin, better sleep, better digestion and feeling more energy during the day.
I’m 5’ 3” and 110 lbs now and NO yoyo!

The media is full of crap. I'm 25 years old and have done intermittent fasting since high school without realising i was doing it and I've noticed my belly trimed. I start doing it again this month and I already noticing a different in my belly. I don't weigh much yet I'm seeing the difference and loosing fat. I hate the media they don't know shit until they try it.

Haha how funny. Recently visited a doctor this afternoon for a sore throat and mentioned to him that I had recently broken a 72 hour fast and that I fast intermittently. He told me that there were definitely benefits to fasting. I guess what they say is true. If we allow our bodies to heal and repair itself the natural way through fasting, we’ll require fewer doctor visits. Perhaps they’re bringing this up because they are starting to recognize this possible decline of patient visits as this trend continues to pick up momentum.

I fasted for 2 months and within two weeks I saw major results . My blood pressure reversed and I had more blood flow throughout my body and my mind felt so clear ! I reverted back to my old ways but I want to feel like that again !

Caloric restriction/deficit and exercise. That's it. For weight loss. IF helps with inflammation and shrinking tumors

After cutting out breakfast and doing very light exercise in the mornings, having lunch at 12, I started to feel better, lost weight and most importantly got to utilise my mornings better!

At 62 years old I am in peak health and optimum weight as a result of intermittent fasting and I tried everything under the sun. The only thing that ever worked was intermittent fasting. It took a while to change because my insulin was all over the place. I tried every single thing that was recommended and I would have done anything but nothing worked. Sticking to intermittent fasting has blown everything away, including my doctor who can't believe. I take zero medicine and am the picture of health at 62 years old.

Calorie restriction was used for both conditions in this study. When you fast intermittently, you should NOT restrict calories.
