My ONLY Cardio to Get Shredded

High rep burpee workouts are the only cardio I do. Do 125-300 reps per workout, should take no more than 20-45 minutes. I like 1 pumps, 2 pumps, and Navy Seals. Iron Wolf inspired!

45 minutes of burpees sounds like the last layer of hell.

>125 to 300

Bro I might be able to get 20 before collapsing in a pool of sweat and misery.

“And generals” bro I don’t remember last time I saw a general officer who looked like he’d done a day of cardio in the past 20 years.

Thanks for shouting out Iron Wolf and Burpees King. There’s no imitating those legends

I discovered burpees while in prison. They got me ripped...but that being said, running works your body in an important way that burpees cannot. Don't quit running!!!

So effective that the military, prisoners, cross fitters, fighters etc use it to get and stay in shape.

Burpees are very good cardio for muscular endurance. One of the only military style calisthenics you'll see me do out of uniform

I do something called a pullup burpee, where after the burpee I jump up to the pullup bar on top of me and do a pullup, and I also do the pushup on my knuckles, its helped me alot with martial arts, and I've done these all the time

I would say long distance walking is probably the best bet to burn calories simply because you can burn a lot of calories and it won’t have much of a recovery cost. The downside is that not everyone has 1-2 hours a day to spare for walking

These are the best option for intermediate-advanced lifters as the resistance isnt so high that it interferes with the recovery provided your are not HEAVY

I did at least 100 burpees a day for a month to see what it's like. After two weeks i was visibly leaner, felt springy in every step during the day, had a resting heart rate around 45, and felt like my sprints were faster or at least more explosive. Eventually they were the best 6-7 minutes of meditation I've ever had.
