I think i have this I don’t feel emotions or if I do I don’t know that I’m feeling them I get weird physical sensations I can’t explain and I will laugh and smile but it’s not real it’s like I’m acting and just living a lie I laugh if I think that’s what needs to be done in a situation how am I supposed to know if I actually like my friends when I don’t have emotions

My whole life I never understood why I felt the way I do until a few days ago my mom told me I've shown signs of autism since I was little. She said she never got me tested for autism because she didn't want to label me, but now I'm looking into it more and things are starting to make a lot more sense I wish she had at least told me sooner I'm 15

I am autistic and I think I may have Alexithymia. I've always had trouble expressing my emotions or describing them. I tend to bottle up negative emotions like anger or sadness until I reach breaking point.

Bruh I’m not even autistic but I completely related to this-

Like I get sundown syndrome. You know? I have no word for this feeling when I look at a sunset, and the sky above just melds together in different shades of blue and yellow and pink. I just don’t know how to describe the beauty I see, and the sadness it makes me feel. But then I don’t even know if it’s sadness I’m feeling! This has to be alexithymia.

Everything i say is said with no emotion. This is only really towards my family and strangers.
I have infact have childhood trauma and adhd.
So uh...I also show no empathy towards things. Like when a member of my family died. I just said "that sucks".
