My goal was to lose 10 kg in 2 months, but I ended up gaining 5 kg, because quarantine makes me eat non-stop. I feel like trash😭🥺

Update: It's been 11 months and I actually lost the 5 kg and even more since then. I went from 64 kg to 55 kg. I used to have a binging disorder and I also got diagnosed with hypothyroidism, but now I recovered from my ed and take meds for my thyroid and finally lost the weight in a healthy way without restrictions.🥰 Thank you for all the nice comments💞

IMPORTANT: DIET MAKES UP 95% OF WEIGHT LOSS. EXERSISE MAKES UP 5%!!!!

UPDATE: thank you for informing me about the wrong calculation - i was told it was 95% diet 5% exercise but its actually 80% diet 20% exercise. i was miss informed but it also depends on the person and the principal is pretty much the same, dietary changes and healthy diet is more important than just exercising!

intermittent fasting
-20/4 OR 18/6 OR 16/8 (she did 20/4)

-used the app ‘zero’ to track her fasting

-science:
•allows you to consume less calories
•remove your water weight
•not eating for the 20 hours allows you to digest the food you ate in the 4 hours

-difficulties: meetups with friends to eat & celebration days where you eat a lot (Thanksgiving, Christmas)

-how she ate
• avoid sugary snacks (like chocolate, honey and sweets) but natural sugars like greek yoghurt is okay
-ate lots of protein which is a slow-burner
-switched her carbs (focus on slow carbs like brown rice etc)
-drank a litre of water before every single meal


exercise
-crossfit (weightlifting - lose fat & define your body)
-chloe ting 2 weeks shred

I know a lot of people who really like intermittent fasting, even as a sustainable diet for weight maintenance. I'm in recovery from anorexia, so know it's not a good idea for me but I'm so glad it works with you!!! Everyone has such different health needs & there's so many different ways that looks for people (:

I've done intermittent fasting on and off but in my eating window I stuffed my face with junk. I'll need to be more disciplined 😩 summer is approaching

Hello there. 1 month ago, I watched your video, as I wanted to lose 20 pounds as well. I followed your advice to the key, and lost all 20 pounds by day 15.
Im really in the best place body wise, that I've been in a long time. I've made it a way of life now, so I can eat what I like during meal times but fast the rest of the day. I've not gained any weight after I lost in the first 15 days, I actually continued losing weight, so I can have a reward now and then during my meal time. 👍
I'm 44 years old, 5'3 and now weigh exactly 119 pounds.
I want to thank you for posting your video, it was simple, to the point, genuine and inspiring. And I'm sure it has helped a lot of people.

Guys just a heads up! if you want to try intermittent fasting for prolonged periods of time, please be wary of electrolyte imbalances. If you constantly feel thirsty and aren't satiated no matter how much you drink, then you most likely have an electrolyte imbalance and have to take supplements. Just speaking from personal experience, it was very unpleasant and it took me so long to figure out why I was constantly thirsty. So if anyone ever sees this, please keep this in mind and stay healthy❤
