Let me give you a little light on your decision. I work for 41 years as a pipe welder for two large companies. I finally got to retire. I work 100 times harder than I ever did in those 41 years. There is no more of a rewarding feeling than being able to work for your self. Your happiness is much more important than money. Congratulations consider your self a free man.

Evan, you and Rebecca are in my eyes one of the most honest and humble couples on Youtube. You not only entertain but teach in the process. I wish you both, very sincerely, all the best moving forward. Congratulations!

I think the secret to your success is that you and Rebekah seem genuine, honest, sincere also you’re respectful and don’t use profanity…just plain old American simple life values.
Congratulations and the best of luck in your new career.
God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸

First of all, congratulations. I'll definitely look forward to the additional content, and I hope the extra time allows you to smash some of the projects over there. Secondly, I want to give a shout-out to *Pete* for turning me on to your channel when you guys finally met in person. Thanks for the video.

Evan, what a huge step it was to take leaving your job very brave good luck. My name is Elaine, and I live in the UK. I'm disabled and can not do the things you do farming gardens etc. So I watch channels like yours, and enjoy watching them and dream of what I'm unable to do. I look forward to yours and Rabekahs plans for your farm. Once again good luck

CVA's content is always excellent. Pete (FAM), Daniel (AFH) & Tyler (FTR) would always be good references. Congratulations, God bless.

Good luck with your endeavors! While farming isn't my personal interest, I always find your videos engaging and informative - there's something about them that keeps me hooked!

Don’t fall into the trend my dad didn’t first year after he retired to work the farm full time, set yourself at a steady pace and don’t overwork yourself on the homestead. He burned out hard after one year of retirement. He’s come a long way since then and gives himself a set work schedule for farm work and time for the grandkids. I’m rooting for you and the misses!

Congratulations on living your dream.
You are my favourite YouTube channel. You show us your successes aswell as your failures and we get to share your hits and misses.

Taking the big leap is a bit unsettling but you seem to have covered your bases. Onward and upward. Wishing you all of the success you and Rebecca deserve.

Congratulations Evan and Rebecca on your new adventure. Now you'll be able to cram an 8 day work week into a 7 day week. Just take it easy and not carry the leftover time into the next week . Enjoy your new life style and welcome Rebecca home each day and try not to overwork her, she is your strength and reason for this new venture. Have fun and enjoy life as the two of you can plan. Stay safe, Fred.

I quit my job nearly nine years ago and although my income decreased my quality of life greatly increased. You made the right decision Evan.

Congratulations, Evan. This is awesome. YouTube makes it possible for a small farm to be profitable in today's ever changing world. I worked 40 years as an engineer before retirement. Some jobs were great. Others really sucked, but they provided for our family. The one regret was having to move from place to place which thwarted the dream to have a small farm like I grew up on. That said, while not impossible, it's highly unlikely to do that now at age 70. I applaud you're accomplishments thus far and thank you for sharing your journey so I for one can vicariously see my dream come true as well.

Congratulations Evan and Rebekah! Hilarie and I are very excited for you! When we made the leap to farming it was very scary, but we never regretted it. We hope the same for you both.
