The only thing I regret about quitting is that I didn't do it 10 years ago.

I’ve been dreaming about quitting (I almost did a year ago, actually told my boss and then I took it back lol) but my fear is that I don’t know what I’m going to do after the fact. People who know what they want to be in life are so fortunate. It’s so hard knowing that you’re not happy where you are and at the same time not knowing where you want to go. I feel so lost.

I hope you be that person my friend. 🖤

Both my kids became self employed. It’s hard but they’re getting by and growing their businesses, in spite of the pandemic. I’m very proud of them.

I just resigned from my job a month ago and I really needed to see this video because damn it’s been hard. The reason for my resignation was to stabilise my mental health after a major mental breakdown. I’m taking the rest of the year off to learn mental health techniques before getting back to being an active economic participant again

The WHY behind quitting is so important + being able to enjoy work life alignment and improve mental and emotional health in the process. Thank you for sharing your story Vincent!

Just found your channel, hello! I wanted to quit my job for 2 out of 3 years i was there each day was torture. i was finally convinced to end it december of last year. It was scary and part of me thought i would regret it. I was so happy with daily life, then I landed at an amazon warehouse and hour away and was unhappy about the job and the commute. After 2 months i quit that after i secured my currents job with way better pay and actual benefits and i could not be happier. I'm now a believer on not settling. if you want better then find it. Your happiness is more important

I have been considering quitting for almost two years now and your videos helped me solidify my decision. Thank you for making these videos. And i haven’t quit, yet. I’m building myself a nest and alternative income sources to give me the most prepared leap of faith I can have. Keep up the great work!

You don't need to take your work too seriously, it's just a job. Try to pick up a passion or hobby thru arts, culture and/or recreational experiences, it will serve as distraction of your work and make balance of your life..💪👏

This is SO relatable. I have not stayed in many jobs long because ultimately despite the fear, self-doubt and uncertainty that comes with self-employment, I cannot stand to unhappily work for someone else or a company and am way more happy and wealthier when I work for myself and am actually happy doing what I do and don’t feel trapped. I was also lucky to work and save when I was young to afford myself flexibility and autonomy in my 30s. Fear of instability and uncertainty keeps people trapped in jobs they hate.

Just subscribed and it was because I genuinely enjoyed you presenting the content. Also my favorite quote from the video is "Make sure you are running towards something, rather than away from something.". I, myself, quit a very stable job a year ago due to burn out and had been there almost 5 years. Yet, no regrets and recovering. Thanks for the channel.

Can't relate to this more after leaving my job six months ago to start my own business. Thanks for making relatable and useful content!

When you step off the plantation (Corporate America) all entrepreneurs go through a phycological and emotional shift that is more akin to a roller coaster with more doubts and lows than highs for a time. This is often not talked about and I applaud you for circling back and discussing it. Escaping the plantation has always been scary, exhilarating, dangerous, stressful, and absolutely rewarding. Thank you for covering this part of the escape!

LOVE talking about this sort of thing from both sides, because it can be so draining doing things you hate but that stability feels so safe 🙏 Thank you for sharing a very balanced explanation

Thank you for just being raw and honest Vincent. Really needed to hear this reality from someone who‘s been there and currently working on this new season of his life.
