In this video I want to talk about daily rituals / habits that I've developed that have helped me to upgrade my life - and how I stick to those rituals.

Psst. I created Life Map Collective with one goal in mind: to create the best, most thoughtful, most effective goal setting, life changing planning tools ever.

A few audiobook recommendations ✨

The Confidence Code
Katty Kay, Clare Shipman (A little bit of a controversial topic BUT helpful and actionable ways to improve your confidence)

Tame Your Inner Critic (Audible Original) - Surprisingly great - I had never listened to one of the audible originals before!

Upstream Dan Heath - I clearly love Chip and Dan Heath stuff

The Obstacle is The Way Ryan Holiday - I devoureeed this audiobook, not hyper actionable but a great listen

How to Be Yourself Ellen Hendriksen - Read it and listened to the audio, one of my favourite books

A mindset shift / new habit I have incorporated into my life is saying, "I get to do this" instead of, "I have to do this." Sometimes we forget how much privilege and opportunity we have in our life. Being grateful and showing appreciation always helped me be more positive and motivated when struggling to start something.

I've incorporated yoga into my lifestyle and it has made such a huge difference to my mindset and body.

It's easier to incorporate one habit at a time than five at the same time. Humans generally don't really like change and too much of it is overwhelming and we return to our old self. Same with overdoing it, start small and increase the intensity over time if you want. Great advice.

Creating small habits makes a total difference. When we focus on an entire task it may feel overwhelming. However, if you make micro habits, changes, it can motivate you to get the whole task done sooner than focus on the whole task.

From a content creator to another- great video Muchelle! 💕

I do my 30 minutes tidy while my dinner is cooking as most of my meals take 30 minutes. Then I just wash up after I’ve eaten and I’m free to relax for the evening 🙌🏻

I’m a slow riser also and I like food too! Your suggestions are very helpful. Thanks for sharing such relatable and valuable content ❤️❤️❤️

I'm a slow riser too but not an audio person so I often read articles I've saved. It helps me wake up, usually educates or entertains me, and it's something I can tick off my to-do list before I even get out of bed. 😉 Probably my best habit, though, is daily journaling. Nothing too fancy – just a few quick notes about what I got up to that day. Never seems like much in the moment but endlessly rewarding when I read back over old entries. 🙂

Daily tidying makes such a difference, and in big clean days I save an hour from not having to clean up the week. I love the idea of a morning audiobook to replace social media, especially with the negatives in the news about politics here in America. Thanks for the motivation!

Habit tracking in my bullet journal has been a game changer for me too. I also have this rule that anything that takes no more than 2min I do it straight away. I'll definitely give it a try with the 20min tidy.

I was going to order the book but shipping was $35 to Canada and I just couldn't justify it. Either way, I love your channel. Keep doing what you're doing ❤️

Do you ever feel like you spend too much time thinking about/ working on how to be productive, mindful, organized etc. and not spending enough time just living?
The classic example being spending more time creating lists than actually doing the stuff on the lists. I feel like sometimes it can all be too much and you can become so occupied with this idea-obsession- about living life to the fullest by creating good habits and all that so just kindda just miss out on a lot of life because you are at home thinking about how to live it best for most optimal output?

I discovered your channel in May and from there I've genuinely been a much tidier person. Just taking a few minutes to quickly tidy really helps my mood. The only habit I have had an issue with my whole life is waking up early, my alarms are set and I. just. can't. get. up. haha

I’ve never heard anyone talk about being a slow riser which I definitely am and really struggle with. If you have any advice/tips on that I’d love to see a vid 🙂 💙🦋
