I struggled a lot to actually find a way to change my region and I found out how by myself. No one was talking about it. And then some other videos are making it way too hard for you, like buying a sim card from the country you want to target.

steo 1 : set phone to english step 2 : change country/location step 2.5 restart phone step 3 : get vpn step 4 : connect to vpn and remove sim card step 5 : open tiktok and verify. And if you want to put the sim back or turn off vpn you have to log out of account and quit the app, don't open it until you have removed sim and turned on vpn

Dude, thanks a lot for the tips especially that vpn! it totally worked, took out my sim card, phone in english, vpn, and boom - my fyp is showing only american videos! One question though - do you always have to use vpn, or just gotta take out the sim card?

Man you probably saved me from getting more views! I’m from France so all of my videos are being pushed in France but French people show no interest in what I post since most of them aren’t fluent in English, and I post covers of artists and bands that aren’t famous in this country. what work is to send the videos and your ID account to your friends (or family) living in your target country so they can post it from there it works very well. No need to buy anything. Just say thank you ☺️

One important thing you didn't mention is using a dedicated ip, first of all if you use a normal vpn there will be other hundreds with the same ip adress and tiktok will drastically cut down your reach numbers, and with a normal vpn your ip changes all the time and when tiktok sees that again it limits your reach

Did not work with me... I live in Italy but I want to use a TikTok account to target Hungary.
I use TikTok on an Android tablet with no SIM inside. I followed the steps by setting the system language to Hungarian and a VPN, then I install and login into TikTok, however it keeps setting my region to Italy. It also says that "region is based on the location you were when the account was created" and the account was created first from my phone with Italian SIM... so it looks like I can't change region at all
