Discipline is the key to success. I don’t think there is anything more important than being able to do the work, consistently, in the face of adversity, emotion and distraction.

Today’s video explains how I’ve built my discipline, providing you a new framework and idea to become more consistent. It’s pretty unconventional - I’m not going to tell you to have a ‘growth mindset’ or anything cliche, trite or shallow.

This gets a bit deep and also I share some pretty vulnerable stuff.

Change hurts Charlie. You described me in my mid-30s and it was terribly depressing. You're unique in a way, I think, and it's because you can explain these ideas and situations at such a young age. I don't personally know what you have been through, but this is the first place I've heard the authors and analogies you talk to yourself thru. You're wise beyond your years and one would have had to have these experiences to truly understand what you are explaining in this video or at least have the knowledge of self to understand your videos. Lol no. Charlie, I don't know if you will ever read this and I know because I'm going through your course that you don't have any emotion when it comes to criticism and all that and you've had these miraculous epiphanies in life and you have this framework that's working for you right now and I know you make a lot of money but there are some things, some things that you can't really really know until you're older. You're still very young. This is not a simulation that we are living in. There is a God and he is real and we're not in a computer generated world. That's not something I can articulate to you especially with the framework that you're using where everything is logical. It's something that you won't understand until you experience a profound loss and have to reevaluate everything you know. That is what I would say.
