I graduated from high school last year and I just had a short story about how this video helped me. It's obviously not new information, like Nikes' slogan "Just Do It". But the way you delivered it really resonated with me I guess. Okay, now the story. I have always been very smart (not a brag, just context) but around the time I started middle school, I slowly started to slack off more and more until I eventually, for the first time, actually failed a class in eighth grade. I had to retake that class during my freshman year. Even still, I didn't get my sh!t together all throughout high school until the summer after my junior year. I was finally diagnosed with severe ADHD. It shook my world. It changed everything but explained so much at the same time. I got medicated and suddenly I had control of my own mind again. I started my senior year off strong but was still letting my emotions create excuses out of thin air to procrastinate. Don't get me wrong, I had straight A's after having straight D's just a few months earlier, but it was difficult to shake those bad habits. I quit nicotine, I quit weed, and the final step was MO. I saw this video and its like my entire world changed AGAIN. I was able to do everything without even giving my brain time to make an excuse. I just stopped thinking about things before I did them. After this video, not only did i have straight A's for the rest of the year, I had over 100% in every one of my classes. I went from all D's (except gym, I had a B lol) to over 100% in every class. It was the most productive and happiest period in my entire life. REAL dopamine. Nothing could ever compare to the feeling of real dopamine, and ACTUALLY being proud of the person you are. Not even drugs. Thank you.
