Do you think refill shops will be more popular in the future?

I’ve fallen a bit off the bandwagon when it comes to refilling a lot of my products. Between moving and 2020, I haven’t fully gotten back into the habit.

But, one of my upcoming goals is to reorganize my pantry and bathroom and get back on it! I think doing some price comparisons would be really interesting too.

I think refilling products and using packaging that already exists makes so much sense. Plus it creates a really streamlined and simplified home - which I think most of us crave.

I went to one of these refill stores in my town but they didn’t weigh our containers beforehand. They wanted to weigh the product and our container together! We walked out of the store without buying anything and we sadly haven’t tried any other stores since. It just kind of soured us from trying another store.

Love the whole concept & it requires employees, instead of robots, thanks to diverse containers being allowed😊

I would like it if those stores had a disinfecting station for the donated jars. That way id be more keep to use the available donations. They might have cleaned it before donating but there’s a satisfaction knowing it’s been cleaned in front of you

Sacramento has a place called Refill Madness! I love that we have that here but sometimes it’s just too expensive for my budget. I wish it could be more comparable to mass produced prices!

Oh we have many stores like that here in Belgium. Ofcourse not the majority, sadly
