Winco is slept on but when I go to mine our produce will either go bad 2 days later or it’s already bad. :/ but best place to get bulk items

Good shop, though you’ve only got $18 left for more fresh produce etc that you may need before your two weeks are up. It seems quite tight. I may have left a few not so immediate items to have that money for next week. Cheers !

I hope everyone knows bulk bins are completely pointless. They’re basically emptying packets of things into those bins. You’re still creating just as much waste just because you’re not seeing the tiny individual packets doesn’t mean it’s not happening. 🙄

Wish I could buy things in bulk bins, but I have a child with a severe peanut allergy, so they are a no go for me 😢

what do you think someone with severe allergies should do to go zero waste (or reduce waste)? i can't buy anything in bulk or from store bakeries cos the contamination risk is too high and i'd love to see what i could do to reduce my impact anyways :3

What do they call those cloth bags you use? And what do you keep your produce in in the fridge because it's hard to see the produce in those bags. But they're better than what I use.
