its well intended but a couple of people being waste free unfortunately doesnt stop others from producing waste, for example if you buy mushrooms that arent prepackaged instead of prepackaged ones someone else will buy them, theyre already produced and will continue to be produced(the damage is already done), its about the big cooperations that contribiute the the most waste while also capitalizing of of it and making normal people feel guilty about using plastic etc. that need regulation

When I saw you picking up the veg I was like ah ur living middle of nowhere with no local markets.
And then u whacked out the zero waste pick and mix carb section I lost my whole mind. The closest I've seen to that in a supermarket before is a lil spot to choose the eggs you buy.

As someone who works as a cashier in a grocery store, please make sure that the tare weight is listed on all of those bags. If it isn't we have to take everything out and weigh it because it's illegal to guess. Not a knock on the bags btw, absolutely use them please. Love to see less plastic come through the line!

But how is the cashier supposed to weigh the flour, oatmeal, etc without adding the weight of the bag on the scale? I mean, at least produce can be taken out of the bags to be weighed accurately, but the pasta? Pepper? Rice?
