my family is pretty waste free. we recycle and reuse a bunch of stuff!! definitely would love to start using reusable produce bags and stop buying stuff with plastic, your videos really inspire me❤️

Please excuse my ignorance as I’m a beginner and still learning the ins and outs. But I have a question. When you use your reusable bags for groceries, do you just tell them what you have in each bag at checkout? If not, do you open it for them or do they open it themselves? Also I know some things are charged by the weight instead of per item. When they charge by weight and you use the reusable bags, does it usually cost a bit more that usual? Sorry for asking these silly questions. I have horrible anxiety so I would feel so awkward and out of place without knowing what to do or what to expect first. ❤❤

Okay, they used to have a bulk bin near me but they stopped selling the items i used to be able to get things like pasta bulk but not enough people were buying from it so i understand why it shut down the nearest one is like 35 minutes so if I ever go there I make it worth the trip

glad to find you. I used to put a lot more effort into being low waste but it all got away from me. I have, however, purchased some zero waste toothcare products and shampoo and conditioner bars because theyre likely to run out soonest. I've also gone back to second hand clothes shopping (bought a 100% wool coat for £50!)
