MY dad got an older male Belgian Malinois many years ago. Wasn't very active (had health issues and was just old). But boy was he tied to my dad. Followed him EVERYWHERE. Wonderful, sweet, loyal dog. I know you are enjoying heaven Burglar!

My girl is both tbh 😂 I've seen this girl do some AMAZING athletics, be very protective, but also a super duper derpy snuggle butt🥰 {GSD but still similar 😅}

There are several levels of Malinois. The one that was jumping was near the spiciest and is where most working or competing Mals are. There are quite a few that are much more mellow, but despite popular belief, all malinois will relax if they have an outlet for their physical and mental energy, good training, and a strong leader.

It's largely how much you exercise them. If you put them into agility then you'll get the first one, if all you do is a 3km walk then you'll get the second one.
