In This video I discuss how I increased my vertical jump. I go over everything that has helped me over the years as I went from touching the rim to dunking consistently. I go over strength training, plyometrics, and jumping technique. I also show how I plan out my workouts to become more explosive. I hope this helps!

Hi Colin, with so much junk muscle building advice on YouTube it feels like a climbing through a junkyard whereas your channel feels like a breathe of fresh air with your to-the-point & modest attitude. I am now subscribed and hope you continue to do more videos. Btw, with a name and hair like yours I’m going to bet you have Irish ancestry like me hahaha

This is exactly me right my vertical is 17 inch right now and im 5.10ft. Im a freshman who if i go 100% this off season, i have a shot at making varsity. I know if i train consistently this whole offseason i can hit 30 inches. Thank you for this video.

The dunk at 3.44 is crazy this is why I have mad respect for people training for dunks these days that landing could easily be worse happening especially if/when the defence makes a bit of contact. That's tough!!!! Thanks for the vid. :)

Absolutely love this video man. I have been dunking inconsistently for about a year or two now with a lot of variation in my success day to day so to be able to have a workout strategy to improve this is amazing.

Greetings from Brazil! I started doing this like a month ago, and I was barely touching the backboard when I started, like, the points of my fingers almost touching it for all. I know its not a big time gap, but now I'm touching the backboard with my palm, hope I can touch the rim this year. Thanks a lot!

It's great that you have videos of you training when you were little. Seems you always had the ambition. What's your next goal? You keep succeeding them one by one!

So many videos are just a random assortment of exercises. I like that you keep it simple!

Power = Force * Velocity

Improve Force with Strength Work
Improve Velocity with Speed Work

good vid, so nice to finally see someone that doesn't religiously preach plyos, people just dont understand how taxing they can be and how effective strength training is as an athlete
