I agree with you. You don’t have to keep getting baptized to prove you have been saved by God. I was 17 when I got baptized and a moth after that I started smoking marijuana and doing things of the word. I had no idea I was being controlled by the devil. I never lose my faith in Jesus so the devil will attack me while I was under the influence of alcohol and weed. I did a lot of things I told myself I wouldn’t do when I was a kid purely through I wouldn’t fall for it. Then one day I had a very bad conflict with my family, I didn’t want to think about it so I decided to smoke for the first time with friends. I thought it would help but it was just a temporary. Shortly after I started having sex and drinking to numb my pain. I never felt comfortable doing all of this things. I knew I was doing wrong and doing things out of spite because my family was saying I was doing it anyway before I actually started doing it. God never gave up on me even when I started to give up on him and I tried to end my life. I heard a voice speaking to me to stop and felt a loving presence near. I just couldn’t not go through with killing my self. I been through a lot in my life but God has been and will always be here for me no matter what, I am so very grateful for his love!

he mentioned that when you look at those two passages, who was Jesus telling to baptize in the father, son, and Holy Ghost? The disciples, those who understand who the father was, who the son was and who the Holy Ghost was...

now when looking at acts 2:38 Peter was preaching to NOT disciples or follows of Jesus but gentiles so he told them in Jesus name, the one they crucified etc... so they could know who exactly Peter was talking about, because if people was to tell them father, son, and Holy Ghost then they would have no clue who or what Peter was talking about.

In short.. the two way are interchangably..

Baptism is necessary. It’s the born again moment. Acts 2:38 repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. For the forgiveness of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. We must be born of the water and the spirit. As a seer with receipts the Lord Jesus showed me it VERY important. ✌️🕊

It's not getting into a pool of water, but it's our response to God that we truly believe in what he said. 1 Peter 3:21 "And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. If water baptism saved you, the thief on the cross next to Jesus, would have never entered heaven. The Lord told the thief today you will enter into paradise this day. The thief wasn't baptized.

I agree that I need to be baptised, the church I'm attending says according to Acts 11:12 we no longer need water baptism. I am still feeling i need a water baptism tho.

the need of the Holy Spirit to b baptise us then you can be able to repent! And it's God to draws you to Him.
Please Lord help us all who had a form of Godliness and even when you just had a water baptism but need the Holy Spirit baptism...I had to take a few weeks or months of biblical studies and then God baptized as at 15. I was also dedicated to God as a child and involved in youth groups as an SDA but couldn't fully surrender but thought I was good because I was attending church regularly and tried to be good.

Simple.and clear as water. Receivimg Holy Spirit and beimg baptized is neccesary for salvation, without being baptized no one can enter the kingdom of God .

Hi Pastor, I have a question. I repented of my sins in 2020 and gave my life to the Lord, got baptized in 2021. I have never spoken in tongues. Do I HAVE to speak in tongues to have the HOLY SPIRIT?
