I started my IT career exactly a year ago. I just landed my first role as an IT Specialist at an HR company. This channel has given me so much knowledge that I'm excited to apply. Appreciate you Mr. Kev 👍🏼

Wow, this looks like exactly what I need to get my feet wet, I was just informed I made it past the interview stage for my IT traineeship. I will be doing helpdesk and a nationally recognized qualification during the week and these videos look like to be an invaluable resource to get me prepared. I'm over the moon, but need to be ready. Thank you so much Kevin!

Ah yes Kevtech, thanks for making IT seem less scary. I was worried how it was going to be after getting a job out of college, now I'm not so worried. I really need to study up for my comptia though, I am getting a lot of the questions wrong on the practice tests I've been taking. It's kind of silly how it throws around so many technical terms that you don't really need to know in order to take care of tickets, but I guess they want to make sure you are as prepared as possible

You can use powershell for the outlook delegate status as well. Takes more up front prep if your 365 tenant is using modern authentication and 2FA, most people are now, but it allows you to make that change without going to the users outlook and allows you to make more large scale changes for example if the calendar needs to be made accessible for everyone in the company.

I really liked the video. I'm considering a career in IT, I'm not a very good people person. (Small talk, chit chat) Is it like working in a call center? Honestly what I'm looking for is just working with computers but not like a call center situation. I work at a call center job and I really dislike having to be "fake nice" I like being real and I'm usually no nonsense unless it's appropriate to joke or whatever. I probably sound like a jerk lol I'm basically trying to find that right fit for me. I dont mind talking to people, but having to do the whole salesman thing just annoys the hell out of me. I wanted to ask if it's different than your standard call center work? You seem very knowledgeable and experienced. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Really appreciate your channel and efforts towards teaching others. Just about to make the transition into the field from something pretty different. Also, TIL Shift+Right Click :D (curse Windows 11's simplified right-click).

Great content, man. Looking into potentially switching majors and going into IT, but I was having some doubts about what the job was exactly like and if I’d be interested. I’ve always been good when it comes to helping others with IT problems and I was looking to see what a job like this was like. Very informative and helpful. Keep up the great content!
