For people who don’t know, he bent his elbows a little bit. If you do pec flies and then lock your elbows (keeping them fully straightened), you’re essentially causing unnecessary joint pain which can last for a while, and you’re not putting any tension on your pectorals either, so you’re causing pain for minimal to no gain.

The notice on that machine says to place the seat so your elbows are in line or slightly above shoulder level, but I keep them low, too. By the time I get to that machine, I'm pretty much made of overcooked spaghetti.

Do it inclined with dumbbells and rotate hands outwardly at the end of the movement and you'll really hit the pectorals
