So often we put people like the Martins on a pedestal of being above sin, pain, and having the same difficulty we have gone through ourselves. Such a beautiful testimony by Joyce that I can relate to from my own past struggles. Thank you so much for sharing....hurting people need to hear that Christians aren't perfect, but we serve a perfect Savior that will forgive our sins and cleanse us and we can once again live for Him after walking away. He's always there for us.

The Martin's have à GREAT MESSAGE .. I appreciate hearing their life story as many Christian families have their downfalls but Never admit any failure in church....you see my Dad was a minister in small churches. Us three daughters were taught to be perfect. My mother played the piano and taught us Christian old gospel songs. I played the guitar and sang with my older sister since I was 8 years old...In teenage years, my older sister became depressed. We lived with constant criticism by perfect dad. Mom was a great example for us but not too strong emotionally. Life falls apart. Sister felt that she committed the unpardonable sin...Today, because of Mom' love and example, WE THREE KNOW THE LORD and praise HIM daily.

As much as none of us enjoy trials and tribulations, it is those very things that refine and purify us! God wants us to be REAL with Him, for His glory and honor. To the Martins, thank you SO much for your transparency! It is truly an honor for the 3 of you to be vulnerable so that others can be encouraged that their lives are not over; that God indeed RESTORES!

For anyone who's been walked out on or someone divorced you even though "you" were trying with all your strength to make it work, I can tell you right now, it doesn't mean you're worthless or not pretty/handsome, and it doesn't mean you're not worth loving. I couldn't make a certain person love me either. And in the midst of my tears I found that God still loves me and wants to spend forever with me even if that person didn't. It's been almost 6 years now and I'm serving the Lord in a greater capacity than I did when I was in that oppressive situation. So, I'm praying for the broken tonight. 🙏 ❤️‍🩹

A former pastor of mine Rev. David Knight preached a sermon many years ago & said, “Faith is formed in the fire.” It is not what we want to hear, but it is so true.

I appreciate their willingness to be open and honest about their struggles, especially Joyce. It isn't easy to open up but there will be so many who are struggling that can see the hope found in Jesus.

I love the Martins. I remember being in the thick of it, broken and hurt, going to bed asking God a question. At about 3:30 am He woke me with He Leadeth Me playing in my heart. Precious, our Lord is so sweet, so so sweet.

I announced my coming divorce and testified in my church because I felt that weight of “judgment” that I might receive from church members. And praise God….He gave me that strength and people surrounded me with their love and prayers.

I wish they would do a book. Just divide it in 3 parts, with their stories. SO POWERFUL!

The Martins are friends of mine, my favorite singers, and truly some of the most down to earth, sweetest people I’ve never met. Their stories inspire me and their music has helped me through some of the darkest times of my life. I’m so glad to know them and that God continues to use them to touch other people through their music. They’re truly the best 🖤

There is a level of intimacy that we can experience with God that can only happen in trials and total surrender to Him.

I was living in Alaska at the time and was down in Ohio visiting my mom and dad. They had really fallen in love with the Gaither videos. I first saw these kids during that visit. I do believe the music began my search for a way back to the Lord. I am so thankful for God's music and how He uses it to speak to His people.

The Martins family is so beautiful and their voices is out of this world! Your can tell they love the LORD and as long they have sisters and brother stay together they will go forward.
Remember the Martins have blessed so many people

This was my church today and I didn't know I needed this message of redemption today, but I did. Thank you Joni and thank you Martins!

I have every cassette, of theirs plus soundtracks. You can't beat family harmony. I loved it when we booked and had them at Gospel music TV in Pigeon Forge. 🙏🏻✝️ I pray they will continue on singing & winning folks to Christ.
