For all you martial artists out there, Jeffries has some of the best videos on boxing fundamentals and improvement that you can find. I love Sensei Seth's videos because we can sometimes get too narrow in our disciplines and he really broadens my knowledge.

Man, his channel is amazing. His channel and Gabriel Varga's is basically where I learn the most about martial arts in YouTube, so much great content.

When you asked that "foot and then hand or at the same time" I wondered if that came from the typical kata style of movement. I always wonder about that. WT ponsae and Karate kata usually go with the body before technique.

"For more power, are you going foot and then hand?" God I appreciate you asking that so much. It's like every video I've watched since I started boxing years ago skips that and just expects you to know.

I'm a long time karate guy, but because I think cross training is valuable, I went to a boxing coach. He was all over me for the points Tony makes -- relaxing rather than being tense (which karate people are prone to), turning the hips and shoulders (which karate people are taught not to do), extending the arm, and stepping with the punch. Doing these things indeed makes a great deal of difference. Thanks Tony and Seth.

Surely not a collab I would've ever expected, but what an awesome one! Tony's channel helps me - a beginner in boxing - a lot, not only because of his knowledge, but also because of his enthusiasm towards this beautiful martial art. Great video, cheers!

This is awesome! I'm happy that you collaborated with Tony Jeffries. I wonder if you'd do another video on some mitt work.

I found Jeffries a year ago and he helped me immensely. I incorporated a lot of his teachings into my workouts. It is surprising how little you can know even if you have hit and kicked things for decades!
