Agreed.
After my first loss in my first match, I started thinking what I did wrong.
And I kept replaying the fight again and again in my head, and think of what I could do to win.
Everything I am now, is the accumulation of experiences from my fights.
I don't just spar mindlessly to see who's the tougher man, and let me ego get the better of me. Instead, I started thinking, how to win faster and with minimal damages?
I learn from past fighters like Mike Tyson, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, studying their techniques and implement them in my own game. And the thing is everyone is different, you have to find what works for YOU.
And I teach that to those who learn boxing from me as well

1:30 you are totally right. Yesterday i was sparring this guy way more experienced than me and i was thinking i should throw a hook to the body but i was afraid of getting caught by a right hand but I decided to anyways and got caught but now i know why i got caught and i can go back now not making the same mistakes

Thank you for your videos, I started boxing 2 months ago at a local gym and your videos have helped me get much better on the bags. I love the fact you have to figure out your opponents next move and the science of the sport, I particularly like working on footwork and need to practice slipping and realistic combos (watching your vids I am trying to perfect the jab - uppercut - pivot hook - 1-1-2) absolutely love that. I can’t wait to build my IQ and start sparring in a few months time.

I’ve always wanted to travel to LA and hopefully one day I can train in your gym. Thanks and love from England 🥊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I can 100% confirm that it works. I watched your videos after about a year of boxing training and generally had a high interest in watching boxing matches. Then I started watching Canelo vs. Saunders or AJ vs. Usyk boxing fights, watching how the legs move and trying to copy it. My coach said after that year of boxing training I was really talented for boxing, but when I started boxing he thought to himself "I wonder if this is going to work."
