Is water baptism required for salvation? #shorts

The only baptism required for salvation is the baptism of the Holy Spirit! John makes a very clear distinction between his baptism and that of Jesus. Jesus does not baptize with water, but with the Holy Spirit.

When does the baptism of the Holy Spirit happen? The moment you believe in Jesus. It’s a spiritual event that we don’t see, so we perform the external representation of that event. Water baptism is a great thing but it’s SYMBOLIC!

John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; BUT One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
[‭‭Luke‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬]

The Savior taught, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5).

If you believe and get baptized you will be saved, if you don’t believe you will be condemned - Mark 16:16. What atheist gets baptized?

Your conjecture contradicts what Jesus commanded. Mark 16:16. He that believe iand its baptized shall be saved. Who are we to speak the opposite of what THE SAVIOR commanded?

We Must Be Baptized for the Remission of Our Sins
The Apostle Peter taught, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins” (Acts 2:38). Following Paul's conversion, Ananias said to him, “Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins” (Acts 22:16).

FAITH ONLY will not save you: James 2:24 - Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

He's correct. Water baptism is not required for salvation. In fact, it's no longer supposed to be practiced. People are just following the herd mentality. They don't understand the prophecies nor the book of Acts.

Ephesians 4:5 "one Lord, one faith, ONE baptism"

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

If you believe and are baptized by the Holy Spirit, WHY would you feel the need for a practice of water baptism; which was fulfilled by Christ and ended with the gift of the Holy Spirit unto all who believe? Who gets the credit for that work?
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
⁹Not of works, lest any man should boast.
