Digital piracy is neither good nor bad, it's a market response. Platform exclusivity, poorly implemented antipiracy/DRMs, and bad regional pricing are the biggest drivers of piracy. If a game is accessible on whichever platform the consumer prefers, is priced appropriately, and provides no barriers between the product and the consumer, the devs will see that reflect on the level of piracy their game will face.

It's Nintendo's own fault, people would buy it if they offered it on PC, just like God of War and Spiderman on Steam, great sales

Thr switch can still be bought and all the games are accessable, the older consoles are fine emulateing, hard to come by and the games can more or less only be fund online, and some games are completely dead which is just sad

Piracy is a double sided blade. When you sticking it to the Corp your also sticking to the dev. So your really stealing from two groups, that which one group is already stealing form the other.

Yuzu makes $30k a month from patreon just for the emulator. Maybe making money off it was the problem
