What are the signs your nose is broken?
You look one way and it points another.
Thanks for pointing that out. What is another sign it is broken?
It stopped bleeding but really hurts. If you blow your nose and the whole thing wiggles, not just your nostrils.
Or it could be a deviated septum.
One sign of a broken nose is blocked nasal passages that don’t drain or clear. That’s from the swelling of a broken bone.
Or a really bad allergy attack. Or it may be a bruise.
If the swelling is bad after something hits you in the face, the nose could look bent or broken even if it wasn’t because it looks out of shape. But if it still hurts and out of shape after a few days, go to a doctor.
I don’t think they put casts on your nose. At least, I’ve never seen one.
It might be splints up your nose or a tape thing on the bridge. Depends on where it was broken or how.
I’ve heard of people breaking a nose when someone hits them in the face.
A hard enough blow can break the cheek bones, too. But a broken nose can cause swelling in the cheeks, too, if it is broken around the bridge.
If that happens too many times or in several places, you get a flattened nose.
Or, what they really ought to put in drug related public service announcements, the flat and collapsed nose from people snorting cocaine too often. In that case, it just dissolves the supporting tissue and it falls down.
That’d definitely scare more people straight than this is your brain, this is your brain on drugs.

How do they fix it?
