Replacing all alternating hand blast with traditional blast beat in Benighted Set (300bpm and +)

Let me know in the comment section ! I've been working a lot on hand technique recently in order to be able to play all blast with traditional blast beat pattern. And I am know thinking about sharing some knowledge and tips about wrist technique, open close technique, but also gravity blast and alternating hand technique in a very complete 4 hours package of drums lessons. You are an absolute machine. Great that you set up the camera. For me this was the best gig of the whole festival. I'm waiting for the official BA videos to see just how much crowd surfing there was. I couldn't see all of that in the front rows, but I do remember that on the last song I barely even saw the stage, as I was just passing surfers :D

I wonder which technique of them all is the one that you call traditional. To me the oldschool Blast (bass+hi-hat/ride on the beat, snare on offbeat) is what I call traditional Blastbeat. On "Chimera" Hellhammer even used a 3rd and bigger kickdrum for patterns with that single bass blast style. I always blast this way cuz I ain't able to play acceptable rebound and to fill in double bass correctly. But so I became pretty fast with the oldschool method and learned it’s sounding more brutal. Other musicians share and confirm this impression. Of course I still wish I could play Northern rebound blast style, but guess it’s too late for me to learn it.
