Get into Ketosis Faster with these 6 Steps

Ketosis is a metabolic state where you are burning fat for energy, instead of burning sugar. When this transition of energy source is made, the body begins producing something called ketones, and is said to be in a state of “ketosis”.

There are four levels of ketosis, starting with a light form of nutrition ketosis, moving into optimal ketosis, then therapeutic ketosis and finally highest level of ketosis which is generally achieved through longer 3+ day water fasting. All levels of ketosis are beneficial, but depending on what your health goals are, you may be trying to reach a specific level of ketosis. You can measure your ketones using a Keto Mojo.

The Effect of a Diet Moderately High in Protein and Fiber on Insulin Sensitivity Measured Using the Dynamic Insulin Sensitivity and Secretion Test (DISST)

Insulin sensitivity, measured by the novel DISST method, was reduced in overweight women at risk of diabetes following an ad libitum high protein, high fibre diet, compared with those following a standard ad libitum high carbohydrate, low fat diet, after accounting for weight loss differences.

Homemade healthy keto bread, recip: 2 eggs (stir whites and yolks separatly) + 1/2Tbs of chia seeds+50 gr of (sesame seeds, pumpkin seed, sunflower seeds and almonds) + 1/2 tsp of salt + baking powder 1tsp + water to combine it all. All seeds should be grounded and you can do them all toghether. Bake it slowly on the baking sheet. :) Healthy as can be!

I like some almond and coconut flour baked goods (largely with eggs, some cheese, chocolate) like unsweetened muffins, chaffles, ..in small quantities and with nut butter or slices of avocado or berries.

This is so valuable for us to learn even if we are hesitating to go keto right now because the research is currently accelerating around the science world which is revealing how powerful keto works whether we do it short term or long term. I was hoping you would do some research on freshly milling you flour at home and see what you think of that! I have been milling my own flour for going on on three years and it had amazing health benefits ! I’m also fasting and almost no sugar and it seems to be having amazing results

Thank you! Although I’m not new to keto diet this video helped me. I used to be in ketosis for a year and then had a break from keto for about one year more. Gain all my weight back. Long story short now I’m doing keto for three months and feel great but never break a weight loss plateau since I started. I review my diet bc of your video and found out that I eat around almost 300 grams of fat daily. I guess no wonder I didn’t have weight loss, I should be thankful that I didn’t gain it even more. I’ll try to fix it with your principles and we’ll see what happened after a month. Thank you again

Fats MCT, Nut oils, Avacado, bone broth good fats. Diversity in meats, clean meats. Collegen powder. Natural carbs are ok. Eat berries. Eat greens. Total carbs, minus the fiber= net carbs.

I love this video and am passing it on to some friends as well. I love a big salad w veggies, adding avocado, chia, hemp, flax and or pumpkin seeds and some leftover salmon, or any kind of meat sliced thin. Add a few berries or fruit and it has a nice pizazz
