Been on low carb (basically zero carbs) for just over 2 months and down 25# and not getting hungry like I used to (food rage). I encourage people to look into this for themselves if they are chonky or have gut issues with the standard american diet.

I've been making beef roasts weekly. I just get whatever Walmart has on clearance, brown it and throw it in a crock pot with water and salt. 4 hours later, I'm good to go.

Its real important to get MCT fats in your keto diet the medium chain triglycerides are your energy; the fat that converts to ketones. So meat, cheese(goat), coconut fat. Any food with cholesterol for hormones and MCTs for energy.

I don’t want any Oxalate in my diet, because I have had huge problems with kidney stones and bladder stones, plus the occasional Gout flare up’s but after going Carnivore, it all disappeared 🙂

It's also high fat - good fats. Avocados, olive oil, butter, salmon etc.

LOW OXALATE VEG!!!! Speaking of our ancestors when they ate veg or fruits, nuts or seeds it was only on a seasonal basis so the bodies had time to clear out the oxalates but the ancestral diet was most heavily mea/animal -based. With access to Foods year-round and these huge supermarkets and now the internet, we have access to it year-round without it being seasonal at all.

I can tell what Keto is not, and that is all the items sold that are labeled Keto friendly. My wife picked up a small container of Keto friendly ice cream and it was mostly un -natural ingredients and chemicals. Still had a ton of carbs.

I've started eating about half my portions as veg, the rest meat and healthy fats. Major satiety, improved digestion, carb 'cravings' greatly reduced.

My new 'drug': steamed broccoli seasoned with grass-fed butter and garlic salt. LOL

I'm 3 weeks into just eating meat, veg cheese and eggs. I'm a bundle of energy and no longer struggle getting up. I'm performing better at work, and brain function has definitely improved.

Only downside is stinky breath and can't poo lol

Keto is a good transition tool from a toxic diet to a animal based diet and eventually a carnivore diet which is the healthiest way of eating 😊
