I honestly used to attempt doing HIIT in the past but gave up from lack of results coupled with being to intense to keep up with on a weekly basis. Since following your channel I have implemented 1 hit of liss daily and saw massive results. I think I'm willing to try HIIT once again in the future following an incremental process as you mentioned, so my plan will be to now start jogging then add in sprints slowly but surely!!

Doing HIIT helps me to save time due to my busy schedule but if I'm being honest after watching this video I haven't been doing HIIT the proper way. With that being said, it's never to late to start / start over.
Knowledge is power

Great video Mike! I started Insanity training in 2013 with Sean T, and saw great results. Have tried OTF, F45, and other like minded programs. I agree, those sessions are too long for the intensity level. Insanity 30 min max is a good in between as it focuses on warm up, 10-15 min HIIT, cool down and stretch. Look forward to more videos, keep on truckin!

Doing HIIT 6 days @ 80-85% max heart rate, 9 min / 30 sec splits, then measure heart rate reduction to less than 80% after 2 min recovery.

Great vid 👌 HIIT is the killer for me being a diabetic, it drops my sugars the fastest, but usually counteract with a flapjack before or lucozade during.
Trying to add in variety, battle ropes are being tackled these week 🙏😂

I’ve seen a video where you say you do HIIT with 1 minute interval between sprint and walking. Since then I’ve been doing the same and it feels awesome

In my opinion hiit is more taxing because of spike in cortisol, injury risk and sometimes it costs you the same time as low intensity because you should take a shower warm up and etc.I do only low intensity because i have a time to but if you are time restricted HIIT is the only way.😊
