Oh my gosh though, how many times, growing up, I heard men say that statement, about how they would do any random woman, and how that made me and I'm sure SO MANY other boys feel like the strange ones, because in my head I was quietly thinking, 'I would not want to do that. I guess I'm just not a normal guy, guess I should just hide that So not only is is bad for women to hear such statements, it's harmful to boys as well, who are made to feel less than just because they want to feel safe and loved.

On the last video, with the kidnapping prank proposal, I went to the original post and read the admittedly odd lack of comments. The first comment was from a young woman who said, “I would have said no.” The very next comment was from a guy who said, “That’s why you’re alone.” Like, dude! He totally didn’t get that was preferable to subjecting one’s self to this abominable behavior.

Look as a self-described 4 who was, recently, considering getting into dating apps... The reason I decided against it was fear of guys like this. Like yeah I know I shouldn't expect some long-awaited prince/princess charming, but I think I at least deserve someone who sees me as a person and not a commodity or worse, a receptacle. The one nice thing about not being conventionally attractive is creeps reliably leave me the hell alone, I don't want to have to put a target on my back.
