It's really ironic. Those dating apps and social apps were meant to create connections between people. Instead they are making those connections less and less possible.

This is soo true, but the next realistic question is, where on earth are we expected to find people to date??! I’m on a dating app because I’m single and looking for companionship. Things have sadly changed, you aren’t talked up at the grocery stores, church get togethers, or social event etc. So then, where am I supposed to find or be found by someone?

I did Hinge and one girl that matched to me, she said she couldn’t find me Instagram. I deleted it years back. She said that was a dealbreaker. All I can say is I dodged a bullet and dating apps are trash.

Dating apps are actually made to have less chances of finding a proper significant other for you so you could use the app more and give them more profit.

Those words she spoke hit me on a deep level. I made that mistake last week with my partner telling him that there are many people who would be happy to treat me better than he does. I was mad at him because I felt neglected. But when I said that I realized my mistake and now I fully regret making him feel like a disposable option.

I gave up on dating apps many years ago due to this reason. Nothing worse than thinking you are forming a bond with a woman just to discover them texting other men. It's worse when they do it blatantly in front of you also.

Met my wife on day one of downloading a dating app. Deleted the app that same week. That was roughly seven years ago. Worked out great for us! She’s the best 🙏

I went out on a couple of dating app meetings and each time the guy was being very bold with their attitude and not putting their best foot forward, because I believe they did feel that they have so many options that their attitude became extra arrogant
