The male narcissist I thought was a friend, was a disgusting user. He blamed all his problems on women, harassed female coworkers to coerce them into quitting, and blamed his problems on me when he drank all the time. He became violent when he started doing drugs and was still blaming his problems on me. He was not only mooching off me all the time while I taxied him to and from work, he began threatening to kill me because his psychotic side was brought out by doing drugs.
He lost a shift on a job, where he had seniority, and blamed it on female coworkers. But it was his ego that got him fired; he felt he was indispensable. Once you tell your boss you're not going to do what you're hired to do, the company has every reason to let you go, but he blamed it on female coworkers instead. Anything that went wrong was always someone else's fault. He was also drunk at work every night and acting stupid. The narcissist will not assume responsibility for their own bad judgement or mistakes.
He said insulting things about me to other female coworkers and they encouraged him by laughing. I hope they put up with him the way I did. I don't miss the selfish abusive tyrant.
The narcissist needs you more than you need him.
