Is not possible for everyone to lose 20lbs in 30 days. Men and women doing the same thing want lose 20pounds. The heavier your are the easier you can lose that amount of weight.

''my friend'' sounds reasonable I will implement some of your suggestions. Two years ago I lost a significant amount and have plateaued ever since at a ''set weight point'' but definitely want to lose another 15-20 lbs for ''health and appearance''. It's been a struggle to get the needle on my scale moving south since the initial lose! And probably most people are Stress eaters (like myself) which further complicates the emotion part of the weight loss process!

Is protein powder allowed? Sometimes I mix my oatmeal with protein powder, if I can't boil eggs, for convenience.

Can I do 2 meals a day say breakfast and dinner but with a small smoothie homemade around lunch? I had an issue with stomach acid and eating too little can actually increase the productivity of stomach acid. But there are debates that a smoothie is pretty much a meal. I also have really bad control around holidays example is I say since it's easter well celebrate with cake but I have the intention of just one thing but it turns into 10.
