Hip rotation strength and stretch for pelvic floor health

Do you have big discrepancies in your hip range?

Full and balanced rotation in your hips is vital for pelvic floor function and strength.

The small, deep rotators of the hip actually form part of the pelvic floor and can therefore easily be trained to improve pelvic floor health.

First of all check for asymmetries in hip range and then improve balance and tone using this progressive exercise plan.

As you work through these progressions keep noting discomfort or ‘tightness’ in one side more than the other. It’s surprisingly common!

And it could be a cause of back, hip or pelvic pain, alignment issues, pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse and bowel and bladder issues.

Would you like to work through these exercises (and many more) with me, in person?

If so, the next Womo women’s health course in October is now open and taking bookings.

Heads up, sign up fast as places are limited to 12 clients and the next course won’t be until next year 😃
