“ASK FOR HELP AND YOU’LL FIND IT” Very true statement but sometimes some people don’t know how to ask for help.

Good seeing a fellow AirForce guy, I was in 25 years was diagnosed bipolar after an extremely difficult deployment when i started suffering horrible panic attacks. Life skills Colonel told me I was just "homesick", which made no sense as i had been on 6 previous deployments with no issues. You seem like an amazing guy hope your doing well now, I'm still struggling with bipolar, Im having panic attacks as I write this, difficult to go to work or do anything, racing thoughts terrible stomach pain and dizziness. Just 2 weeks ago i was on top of the world doing great. Hope 2022 is good for you!

You just said it, you had a house and lost it. Going to any new place: hotel, traveling, families home, anywhere for a day or weekend, will help refresh.

You have to be like a refugee, sometimes.

There's scripture that mentions how there was a prince in the middle east that went through a religion experience from living like a hermit.

We just find the need to be with others and find closure talking it through.

Even going to confessionary is due to having an overwhelming experience with our own autobiographical story.

Dude, I got married a year ago. I can tell you as a person who took Sleep Medicine and personally have been diagnosed and misdiagnosed for being single and vulnerable.

Thank you so much for sharing your insight and experience with us!

Thank you. Great crash course in being bipolar: condensed and clear.

I tried joining the Air Force when I was about 20 years old. I was a high school dropout and needed to take a test to be considered. I failed struggled with reading comprehension issues and was held back in 1st grade because it. Fast forward to 2022 I decided to go in for some testing as I really wanted to be able to slow down my thoughts to enjoy reading a good book. I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 53. It may be to late for me, but I am so happy to see that others now have the support they need to make it.

At my worst point I had a 48 hour sleep cycle where I got 4 hours of sleep. I felt superhuman.

Never label yourself, I am an illness. Episodes are not permanent and can be prevented. Sleep is the key.
