My Betta has been one super active in the planted tank. It’s fun to watch him trying to ambush hunt the little micro fauna in the tank.

I have my guy in a 3gal with 2 Malaysian snails, he’s always active and moving. He’s super interactive and seems happy. It’s a planted tank with betta hidey places and places for him to weave around in. The water parameters are perfect too. I just need to add minerals and leaf litter/wood because my water pH is high unless corrected.
I had some issues with over feeding that I fixed, he had a touch of fin rot and the snails started breeding like crazy. So I put more plants in and I’m switching to feeding ever other day with small live bugs or freeze dried blood worms.
He’s got long flowy fins, so I think a small tank with a low flow like this is great for him.
