Ive been doing this exercise but as I send my butt backwards, do I still have to tuck in the pelvis? Because it automatically tucks out when I do it (in lordosis way)

I’ve seen my physio this morning for my lower right side of back hurting and he discovered my right foot and knee aren’t aligning correctly and knee falls inwards and foot dropping inside, hence causing the multitudes muscle over working on the right, (I think that’s what he said?) and he told me to do this exercise. He also said to do a clam and showed me how to do it, Is there anything else I can do to help my condition? Thanks
