I just have taken 1 tsp of whole flex seeds in the form of "overnight oats" for 2-3 days. Today I feel too much pain in the lower part of my tummy. I feel constipated too! Hope it is not due to flex seeds consumption. Thanks for the information here and I will be watchful about the side effects.

I ate 1tbsp flaxseeds daily for a week now. and slowly noticed that I kinda reduced my food intake coz im not feeling hungry. And I spent almost 18 hours without taking any food or feeling hungry. Now im struggling with gastritis. Im wondering if you guys experienced the same thing?

You really need to watch several videos about flax seed to get the full picture, to learn about the best ways for your digestive system to eat these seeds, and to learn who should NOT eat these seeds and why. They may be great for a lot of people, but everyone is different and you need to do what's best for your own well-being. Maybe instead of eating flax seeds to lose weight, for example, try cutting out sugar or going for a 20 minute walk every day, or sticking to a regular sleep schedule, or taking up a sport that not only provides exercise but some fun time with other people (socializing is good for your mental/physical well-being), or any number of other less risky changes that will benefit your entire body.

I got restless leg syndrome and tingling and burning in body after eating flax seeds for a year. Don't eat them raw. You can roast them first and increase your water intake as well to be on a safer side.

Every example you show whole flax seeds being used. The body can't properly digest them whole and is why you need to grind them up prior to consumption. First of all doctors warns you not to take flax seed whole it will just pass through your intestines. You have to first grind /blend into powder form before using it. I add mines to water, smoothies, plant based milk, oatmeal, or when I bake in powder form. If you are sensitive to Flaxseed, start with 1/2 teaspoon twice a day, morning and evening. I struggle with constipation and the first time I took it, I went to the bathroom after 1.5 hours. You should not over do it. As others advise watch other videos to learn more. Pharmaceutical companies wants people to inject their poisonous drugs in their bodies that cause more problems in your health. I’ve know people that took flax seed for year's and their cholesterol went down as well as weight loss. See an allergist doctor to complete an allergy test. Best of luck. Drink lots of water😊

According to Web MD there are no known hidden side effects involving flaxseed or flaxseed oil etc.
