Well, I spoke too soon. After posting this the “good” job I thought I had went downhill real fast. Just another hellscape full of cruel, mean-spirited, dismissive narcissists. As much as I think I know about workplace bullying, it appears that even I am still not immune to it. I did everything wrong in this job – and everything I advise my viewers not to do: putting up boundaries with narcissists and speaking out about bullying. As always, that was my downfall. I have come to the conclusion that I am simply not cut out for office, group environments. Maybe sensitives like us all need to focus on entrepreneurship and work from home.

When the main bully is your boss, you have no chance to survive in that workplace. Heartless, soulless individuals. The more polite and reasonable you are, the more cruel the attacks.

You are so correct! I am being bullied. My psychologist said it's because you have a sense of confidence which attracts the bully. My patients thank me, but the bully puts me down.

I'm a spiritual person and work in corporate where I felt targeted. I was abused as a child by a narcissist, which I felt opened me up for abuse from others and thought it was okay This video is EVERYTHING I needed

The workplace is the optimum setting for bullies and narcissists. They thrive in these scenarios as it checks off every facet of power and control, from hierarchy to cliques, from using ppl against you to invading your space to wages and private life. In every job Ive encountered bullies, their radar is always beeping for prey, a virus among humanity.

Girl, you are telling the truth! Thank you so much. I'm a Black woman in the legal field dealing with this craziness. It's been happening my whole life.

This is one of the best descriptions of workplace bullying that I have heard. They go as far as not giving you proper training during the orientation/probation period, sabotaging your efforts to get work related information. For example materials that you need to do your job, the bully won't tell you where the item is. One of the first red flags on a job is when you have someone train you who is rude, sabotaging, withholds needed information, gossips to you about other staff, ( because you're next) ignores you when first introduced, and gives you the evil eye. You are so right about inappropriate touching, also anger with you because of your degree, looks, style of dress, and God help you if someone compliments you in front of them. It's so tragic when these boundary crossing and abusive behaviors follow you from job to job. When you begin to withdraw you're blamed for being the difficult one. You are right on so many levels about bullying, and especially the scapegoat description. Thank you a million times over.❤

I have one (a supervisor) who used passive aggressive behavior through ostrasizing me, saying good morning and goodbye to other workers surrounding me and not me. Rarely responds to me when I speak. Plays as if she didn't hear me (she sits right next to me). Basically ignores me and avoids talking to me as best she can. I do not understand it and why she does it. I don't want to be friends, I stay to myself at work anyway. But when someone intentionally avoids and excludes me, it creates a hostil environment that is extremely toxic. I suffer from a few mental health conditions. I believe she is doing this to force me to quietly leave seeking employment elsewhere. My job states they are nontolerant of workplace bullying but you feel helpless and embarrassed to even bring it up. What do I do?

Lol 😂 revenge of the nerds!! Haha I couldn’t agree more. I get bullied at every job I go to. Workplace bullying is the worst. Women definitely bully way more to me than men. I work in healthcare. Most of the women bully everyone. This is a wonderful video and you are very funny 😆

It seems to me that no matter how far you are from these toxic people, the damage they did still hurts. My toughest part in getting away from toxic environments is the triggers I get. I've just had to learn to control the triggers I get. I've learned or tried my best not to react to toxic people. That means I will not give them my emotion, I will get stoic. Only yes or no answers, and simple sentence only when necessary.

I’m dealing with a narcissistic boss who lets a narcissist coworker get away with murder because my coworker is a member of a protected group, and we work for them. (for fear of being identified I won’t elaborate). I’ve held on long enough and plan on transferring; the people left behind will be the new victims. ✌🏾🤷🏾‍♀️

I grew up with a mother like this, everything you said is exactly how my mother is. When she would go off, about her lies and who she is as a person around the house, and kept saying how she loves herself, and how she’s confident and secure in who she is, and I’m just like OK, you don’t need to go around saying that every single day when you see me at home, like who are you trying to convince me, or yourself😂

I was bullied everyday for several months.

But this was three years ago and I still can't let it go. The only thing that I can think about is violence. I just wish i was able to stop it. It was so embarrassing.

Thank you Claire

PHD worthy analysis as usual from Claire. Having been through the wringer myself, I think it can be summed up with the word 'projection'. I see these bots everywhere now, dumping their baggage on everyone else.

I think every industry is run by narcissists. There are organised beat downs and hazing to keep everybody weak and spiritually crippled. I hope everyone reading finds some peace and contentedness :) Best wishes to you Claire

You're right. I'm strong, my bully is weak. First she tried to make me uncomfortable, the war phase was her trying to literally murder me.

Your videos helped me to understand a lot of things, I have been dealing with narcissistic boss and I realize that too late. He is the kind of person who you would not suspect that he is evil he is actually a charming person, he personally helped me with a lot of things. but one day I realized how sick he is, he separated me from the team, he bullied me a lot he spreads rumors about me and I was thinking the whole time that I am the problem or other employees are the problem but turns out he was the one who completely destroyed my self esteem and playing with me psychologically. I can’t explain the amount of damage that he did to me and others, now I am improving my portfolio to find a new job and I will never repeat my mistakes again.

My current boss right now is 100% trying to make me quit. It’s absolutely sick. He is such a “nice” guy people wouldn’t believe me if I even told them. Truly sucks anyone has to deal with these crappy people.
