You hit every emotion I'm feeling. I think fear and regret are the main drivers of rumination, and how to make things right. Even more so when you've done something you regret to another. Loved your video, your voice is so soothing and warm. Like a great friend :)

One of the things that's helping me these days is ..spending time outside.
Spending time outside is so relaxing, especially in this coroncrisis. Every time I go outside I feel refreshed and energized.

Wow. I spent a LOT of my life ruminating on things that had happened, most of which happened TO me, and was trauma-based. It just built resent and tension, but I'm working through all of that now :) I think a key to stopping this toxic system is to ask why you're doing it in the first place. Just that awareness might spark a "shock factor" and understanding that it is not actually serving you. Least that's what helped me!

I know that this video is 2yrs old, but this is touching on things that my therapist and my psychologist has not talked to me about. I just recently found out that I am bio-polar type 2. I will practice on all these. I just pray that my marriage isn't destroyed due to me not being able to get over what I convinced myself is the truth. Thank you.

Rumination causes a lot of people pain and from my perspective it’s even worse as we want to think it actually helps us. We hope that somehow this prolonged ‘analysis’ of our past experiences will make us stronger in the future. But the thing is that it doesn’t. It makes us prone to more pain and suffering.

Now we are so painful, but I believe that one day the day will come to escape from this pain. People are increasingly helping and encouraging each other in this disaster. Beautiful video. I think rumination is the plague (maybe wrong word to use now) of this generation. People go into spirals and can't seem to get out. Love how calming and soothing your voice is, it really makes your viewers at ease.
