Filipino Original Adobo Recipe

Hello mga kababayan we are back and have finally settled in Sydney, Australia.

Today we were able to cook Adobo and I hope you learn to do it yourselves as well.

Ingredients:

500g pork
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
6 cloves garlic
1 tbsp pepper corn
5 bay leaves
1 cup water
cooking oil

I want you to know that I have cooked your pork adobo recipe for four times now; since I found your recipe. That was five months ago. This is surely the authentic pork adobo. My mom used to cook it just like this! I’ve tried some pork adobo recipes, but this is it. It’s quick & easy. Thank you so much for sharing, and keep it going. I'll try this. I have been cooking adobo in different versions but I long for the taste the way my father cooked it.Don't be disheartened by negative comments, keep doing what you're doing.It's good sharing what you know.

I love that so many Pinoy cooks use a mixture of English and Tagalog in their cooking videos, I'm am learning to make some delicious dishes and well as a few Tagalog words too.

Eto yung tamang Adobo. nakagisnan ko na style ng Adobo. ganito din style namin sa Davao.
hindi yung iba na either nalunod ang meat sa sabaw, or masyado oily.
eto tamang color, golden ang fat.

I like your method the best, i am cooking adobo for the 1st time for lunch because I realized i have all the ingredients already except garlic so i am using garlic powder and my pork are pork chops.

Next time I will buy garlic and pork shoulder but I just wanted to try it out.
