As a Filipino and I see Adobo, HELL YES!! and oh, we DON'T use CHOPSTICKS for that because it's an East Asian Thing... we only use spoon and fork, or sometimes, clean hands to eat

sometimes, you can also cook Beef or maybe Chicken, instead of Pork

"You have to eat it with rice"

That is actually the most Filipino thing said. Guga gets it.

I can't believe Guga accepted a Temu sponsorship. Known to scam and they basically sell e-waste. Otherwise, great Adobo video Guga 👍

Whoever edited this video had a lot of fun and I'm here for it. Also, I really like episodes where they substitute a different meat into a known dish to see if it's better or worse.

As a Filipino, it looks good! It's ok to put the peppercorn during the cooking but preferably you put it within the marinade.

My prediction for Uncle Roger's reaction video is that it will be 10-20% praising the adobo and 80-90% roasting the usage of chopsticks 😂

as a Filipino, I find this as one of THE BEST representation of pork adobo, even just by looking at it, makes me drool, thumbs up to Guga! 10 out of 10!

quick note: we don't use chopsticks, just eat it with spoon & fork.

I also was thinking with all of Gugas expensive equipment there is absolutely no way he uses the low quality garbage that temu sells.... was definitely surprised and disappointed to see him endorsing them

Great video. A cultural note…Filipinos do not use chopsticks. The primary utensil is the spoon, and the fork used secondarily to push food onto the spoon which then is put in the mouth.

As a long time Filipino follower, i got to tell you, the ingredients are right, I think you over simmer it. But it still looks amazing. And lastly we never use chopsticks to eat adobo, the best way to enjoy it is to eat it with barehands and hardboiled eggs.

That Temu ad is making me feel sideways about Guga.

You should try making it side-by-side with the Mama Sitas packet version!
The flavor overall is so delicious and I am so happy to see you giver it a shot. Seeing the smiles on ya'lls faces before you even tasted it reminds me of how friends and love ones would look at a plate when I would make them some, and just the excitment of eating a delicious meal.

Bro?!?! Temu?!?!?! They sell customers information and data on the chinese market. Come on man. You make so much money, you didnt need this sponsorship.

Filipino here: Yeah that pork adobo is pretty much authentic but we put peppercorns in the marinade. We also don't eat with chopsticks lol

So my wife is from the Philippines and I have learned a lot of Filipino cooking. I have taken my knowledge and now actually cook my Adobo in the Sous Vide and then finish it off in the pan to sear it. Also, don't use chopsticks, the Filipinos use Fork and Spoon!

Hello., Im from the philippines. You should put sauce in it, it is more delicious if there is a sauce in the pork adobo. and partner it with garlic fried rice and eggs.
