Does the acces point make your normal Wi-Fi hub and the new router as one internet so the signal is coming from 2 different routers but as the same so there’s full coverage

I have tried with 3 setting and the router works better but I found that the white cable has a special setting not as a normal Ethernet cable I would like to keep my router in my rom but the modem in the 1st Fluor in the living room, did you find it?

I have a Netgear Nighthawk router that I want to connect to a Fios Router as a Access Point,
and in the Nighthawk router settings it has AP mode (Access Point mode),
Do I just turn it on enable the AP mode and that's it?? or do I need to do something else in the settings? Thank you.
