How about a video on Access Point in separate building I.e. detached garage apartment, and thank you for our videos so far.

Some APs such as Ubiquiti come with POE injectors, so POE switches may not be necessary just use the POE injector that comes with the AP.

Dude spent 2 minutes trying to explain why I should watch his video and completely lost me by that point. Instead of just getting to the point right away and explaining everything within those two minutes.

Hi, great video! I was trying to clarify something that I didn't get answered in this vid. I have a large rambler house and I need at least two wifi network broadcasters, right now they have different SSIDs and I need to switch manually between them because devices hang on to the connection with the weaker signal even if it barely has a bar. I'm looking at upgrading my system, will access points handle automatically switching your device to the stronger wifi signal and all be on the same SSID? So I'll probably need two access points connected to a regular rouater?

Thank you for the video!

Do you think this would work with existing ethernet ports? I rent, so I don’t really want to put a hole through the ceiling in my apartment, but we don’t get internet upstairs.

There are many existing ethernet ports and coaxial cables upstairs though.

Silly question. What happens if you put a wifi6 AP in your ceiling and wifi5 in wall? I'm guessing they will still use the same SSID and switch automatically but you will be limited by which AP your are currently connected to?

Question - I have wiring throughout the house, and a router in the closet

I want to set up an access point to a wired connection in a bedroom to increase coverage of the existing network

I am not trying to use an ‘extender’ that just rebroadcasts a wireless signal - I want to take advantage of my wired Ethernet throughout the house

Is an access point what I’m looking for?

Hi there, is there a bracket for new construction? So the bracket is flush with the drywall.

These are good, but most people dont want to run cable to AP. It's easier to install repeaters in the outlets

I don’t understand, does the ap need to be connected to the wifi or it can work connected to all LAN ports on wall of my house?

Would you recommend the Netgear WAX214? I have a 3300sq ft home. It is currently being built so I don’t know the dead zones. It is 2 story. My plan is to purchase 3 of them and space them out evenly from left side to right side of house and mount them on the ceiling of the second story to push signal down. I feel that 3 is more than enough hopefully. I only have spectrum cable so I wont be getting crazy speed just want to have the coverage for future proof when speeds increase.

Hi, tq for your sharing.I have a aruba AP connected from a hub, the connection is like this : layer 2 switch to hub to AP, I don't understand why I cannot get my wifi if I connect AP to the hub but no issues if I connect directly between AP and layer 2 switch.please advice. Thank you.

Hi .... amazing video, I have a question: I have the orbi ax6000 2 pack but in my 3 store house I have bad connection downstairs, also I need Vlans, for that reason I was thinking to upgrade to the orbi ax6000 Pro, or the aruba insta on, I already know the orbi, only thing it is too expensive, the aruba is more economical but my question is how this wap works when you are streaming 4k movies plus kids playing Xbox and Nintendo plus browsing at the same time? .... the orbi handle all, but how is this waps work, are they good ( I have high speed internet 1gb) thanks for your help
