I stayed up for 5 days with this Sims 4 Update

The recent Sims 4 updated added a new scenario that I was keen to try, staying up for 5 days without falling asleep!

He didn't need the bed, he's not allowed to sleep, yet James spends 700 on replacing it 😂 just had to chuckle over that a little

i feel like this scenario is perfect for a haunted house:
1. nightly satisfaction points gain
2. guidry is there to befriend
3. guidry can refill your energy need in a pinch
and i wonder if doing a gig as a ghost hunter counts as a night shift??

It's annoying that one of the goals is "stay awake for 5 days" but it says "0/1" so you can't keep track of it easily. As if it were so difficult to make it like 0/5.

I love how James doesn't even skip a beat before jumping into sacrificing Tomax for the scenario gods, and then finding out there's a literal lot trait that attracts ghosts... Pardon the pun, but dead xD

I was doing so well with this scenario and then my sim fell asleep in the tub with like half energy left so I rage quit lol

I only recently discovered that if you put an appeased gnome in your sims inventory, it will spew seed packets into your household inventory all day, every day. That’s probably a bug. I’d imagine it was only supposed to do that for the holiday

James saying “let’s go home, this place sucks” and criticizing the existence of museums in the Sims really made me laugh. 😂 cuz I love museums IRL but yeah in the game it’s dumb lol

the fire bit reminded me so much of when benedryl crumplebottom was added to the seasons lp and james tried so hard to kill him only for a phantom sprinkler to ruin it every time lmao

I have been watching James for the past year or so... Today was the day I realized Semaj Renrut is James Turner backwards. Good grief.

I've definitely had a sim stay awake for 5 solid days before. She was a spellcaster going to university, so I just had her make a bunch of potions of plentiful needs during the week so she'd never have to do any actions to up her mood

This was incredibly triggering as I did a spellcaster play through where my sim romanced Tomax, they got married, he joined the household, brewed a pot of coffee and then DIED fixing the machine. Thanks for the memories lol

Semaj always remembers safety first when doing such dangerous acts as painting as an easel. He loved that helmet!

You don't actually have to Call to Grand Meal to complete that part of the holiday, you can just eat a serving and it'll count! 😄
