No way could I complete this challenge. I dont think I can make it throughout the day let alone 24 or 50 hours without sleep.

You know you love someone’s content when you go back years to watch his videos again

When I was younger I had some serious insomnia issues. At a time, I couldn't sleep more than 1h/day for 7 to 10 days. Brutal times.

I used to not sleep for 48-72hrs at least 1-2x a week for my entire life pretty much. That's what happens when you hate sleeping and love video games. :) I'm so behind on sleep in my life, it's crazy, lol. Did my first 24hr gaming session at age 9. RuneScape was life. I'm now an old person, so I normally don't go past 24-48hrs these days. I also worked 40-80hrs/wk since age 16, so, sleep was just a waste of time. If I had to sleep, I'd rarely get to game. I miss those days, it was great. Some weeks I'd work 24hrs straight/stack all my hours for the first 3-4 days, between jobs, just to be able to game without work interruptions mid 48-72hr session. You can HATE sleeping, but after not sleeping for 2-3 days or working, gaming, etc; the feeling of bed is amazing. It's the only time you like it-although, still being upset you are exhausted and have to.

I stopped being able to sleep for 2 weeks. I could get 1 hour, 2 hours, top 3, but a few nights I literally pulled all nighters. Saturday a headache hit me hard before disappearing after a minute. Next minute later, everything is numb, I'm paralysed on the floor of a department store having little seizures and losing the ability to speak. The headache came back by the way. 250/10 on the pain scale. Great way to end up in the hospital with encephalitis. 😢

I do this a lot for my work. It's usually just what you saw- about 24 highly productive hours, followed by 36 almost useless hours. Only selectively useful.

The worst is having insomnia and on the 2nd straight night of being wide awake you finally feel sleep coming but it's like 15 minutes before the alarm is supposed to go off and you need to get up and drive a delivery truck around the city for the next 8 hrs

Oof- this had to be so incredibly difficult- I feel like the naps would make me so much more tired. Also cooking spray in the measuring cup helps molasses (or anything sticky like that) slide right out

Falling asleep within 5-20 minutes would make life SO easy. Everyone always say to make sure to get 6-8 hours of sleep. Imagine being able to plan your sleep out. Even with insomnia meds it takes over an hour for me. Without them, its 2-4 hours at least before I get 3 hours and im up again.

Those of you who can just fall asleep in 5-20 mins, seriously count your blessings. Because you have no idea.

I was pre-med until I learned that doctors are often on call for 72hr shifts. I couldn't do that, nor would I want an extremely sleep-deprived doc treating me.

To prep for this, you should’ve watched the Seinfeld episode where Kramer does the same thing. One of the best episodes of all time.

I have done 2 all nighters in a row in college, I had like 3 hours of sleep in 60 hours. I hit the gym, and I did surprisingly well, I was running on pure adrenaline and 1000 mgs of caffeine. After having a cheesecake in Cheese Cake Factory that evening for celebrating the end of my semester I crashed and I don't remember how I even made it home and slept.

I know a man that completed an ultra marathon of 250 km in 88 hours so, your no sleep challenge is a walk in the park in comparison.
