How to fix Vmware Workstation Pro 14.x Unable to connect to the MKS too many socket connect attempts, giving up error.

Step 1: Power Off VM

Step 2: Open CMD with Admin privileges

Step 3: Run commands

net start vmx86
net start hcmon
net start vmauthdservice

as shown in the video

Step 4: Power On VM

After returning 'net start vmauthdservice', I get this in the cmd prompt:
System error 1058 has occurred.

The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

I had the same problem, and resolved it a bit differently, because the above did not work. The way I fix it was to go to the directory where the .VMX file is stored, and delete the .nvram file associated with the virtual machine. After doing that and killing any VMWare* processes in the task manager, it worked right away.

not working ;( here what it says C:\WINDOWS\system32>net start vmauthdservice
The requested service has already been started.
That says
all of it running as well why does that problem
