The problem is, is that you can't install VMware Tools for the VM or even update your VMware program because if you do it will show an error saying "Certificate error occurred when connecting to the update server. Please check your internet settings or contact your system Administrator." and there is no way to fix it, and also trying to download the installer for VMware is such a hassle because first you need to register an account then search for the installer file and the worst part is that you have to put some personal information which is so messed up because you are only downloading a single file.
