I used VMware many years ago on windows 7, and it worked fine, no issues. I got to install even win 10. Several machines running at the same time, and each lan client connected to each machine. It was amazing that I could use an old laptop, 1 core 2GB RAM to access a windows 10 machine and work like it was on the notebook itself. Now it seems VMware got very heavy ? I see people facing many problems. What's going on ?

When I try to download workstation player it shows connection timed out, error code 522. Why?

Didn't work for me - once I clicked on create it said it was looking for a USB key or DVD - rather than using the ISO path I had given it. Then it dropped into a blue screen saying boot normally or EFI set up

Solved - the DVD is mapped to the ISO path - but you have to hit space or something on boot else it doesn't look for it!

Thanks for the info! I needed windows7 32 bit on a Windows10 64 bit. So far looks like no issues! I did have to do something different to get my full screen, which was to right click on the windows 7 desk top and choose "Resolution" and set it to 1920X1200 for my 24 inch monitor. That made it full screen. Next, I'll see if 16 bit dbase will run on the windows 7. then see if my method of getting around the windows activation will work on a VM .

After I click the install button the download just freezes after installing a few things and the status is just blank any help.
